out of Network Benefits

If your plan is not in-network, I am considered an out-of-network provider. You may have access to out-of-network benefits through your insurance plan and I am happy to provide a receipt for services, called a “superbill” that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Please note: If you are using an out-of-network insurance plan, you will be responsible for the full cost of each session (the self-pay rate) upfront at the time of each appointment.

Self-Pay Rates

Initial Intake Session: $175

Ongoing Sessions: $150 per 55-minute session

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Under the law, healthcare providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. This includes psychotherapy services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good  Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

  • Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item.

  • You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. Additional copies will be provided upon request. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises

Cancellation Policy

I reserve your session time especially for you. If you cancel less than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time (or “no show”), you will be charged the full session fee. Cancellation fees are not covered by insurance. I understand that emergencies and unexpected situations can occur. I will waive the cancellation fee in these cases, when relevant.
